刘胡兰生长在山西省文水县云周村，在反动的封建军阀阎锡山统治的黑暗年代，恶霸地主对农民进行残酷的剥削，刘胡兰的心灵里从小就种下了仇恨的种子。红军来了，把地方吕善卿家的财物分给了穷人。刘胡兰从红军战士孙同志讲的故事里，懂得了革命的道理。刘胡兰渐渐长大了，为了担负家庭的生活重担，她和邻居家的孩子小青，一起去山里驮炭，俩人渐渐产生了爱情。日本鬼子占领了文水县，地方吕善卿又当上了村长。孙同志回到这里，领导农民们建起了农会、民兵队、妇救会，刘胡兰担任了妇救会的领导。小青要参军了，刘胡兰鼓励他要勇敢战斗，争取入党。刘胡兰在党的领导下，组织群众反扫荡，粉碎了敌人的扫荡。刘胡兰经受了严峻的斗争考验，党组织吸收她加入了中国共产党。1945年，日本投降，小青所在的八路军回到山西，将日本军队的武器收缴。但蒋介石又发动了内战，小青的部队奔向了解放战争的战场。刘胡兰带领着妇救会的姐妹们送慰问品，救护转移伤员，积极支援前一。回到村里，她听到支部书记石德辉和几十个乡亲被反动派抓起来的消息后，勇敢地参加了营救行动，把他们救了出来。但是，在转移的途中，刘胡兰不幸被捕。最后，刘胡兰在敌人的侧刀下英勇就义。

LiuHulan was grown in Yunzhou west village,Wenshui county,Shanxi province,in the dark period of counteraction feudal warlord YanXishan's ruling,local tyrant landlord exploited the farmers cruelly,LiuHulan set hatred seed in her childish mind.Hongjun came here,and distributed the landlord LvShanqing's money and materials to the poor,LiuHulan understand the truth of the revolution from the stories which were telled by Hongjun fighter comrade sun.LiuHulan grown up gradually,in order to burden the load of the family living,she carride the char from the hill with the child of her neighbor.They fell in love with each other gradually,the Japanese devils occupied Wenshui county,the landlord LvShanqing was as the head of the village another time.Conrade sun came back again,and lead the villagers to build the Village congress,Posseman team.Women help congress.LiuHulan played a leading role in the Women help congress.Xiaoqing will join the army.LiuHulan organized the crowd to fight and crusted the enemy's seeping.LiuHulan endured the gravely test of the fighting.The Party Organization received her.In 1945,Japan surrendered,Balujun which Xiaoqing was in came back Shanxi,captured the weapon of the Japanese military.ButJiang Jie shi launched the civil war,Xiaoqing's army rushed to the battlefield,LiuHulan led the sisters of the Women Help Congress to condole with the fighter.resued and transferred the wounded.And supported the front line with activity.Arrival at the village,the branch secretary ShiDehun and scores of the villagers were captured,on listening the bad news,LiuHulan joinde the rescue activity bravely and succeeded recue them.But at the road of transferring,LiuHulan was unluckily captured.Jiang mosstrooper did cruel torture to liu to make her extort a confession,LiuHulan was impregnable very much.Pressented the noble qualities and the revolutionaty spirit of the Party.Ultimately,LiuHulan die a martyr bravely at the enemy's hay cutter.
