藏族女大学生卓嘎出生在西藏日喀则市的一个普通养路工人家庭，她的父母亲将三个女儿都培养成大学生，卓嘎是家里最小的一个，并以优异的成绩考取了中央民族大学。该片通过卓嘎和她的藏族同学们的学习、生活，向观众介绍了西藏教育事业的发展和西藏新一代知识青年的成长过程。
Zhuoga was born to a railway-maintenance worker’s family in Xigaze. Her parents brought up their three daughters to be college students. Zhuoga is the youngest one and was accepted by the Central Ethnic Minority University. Through the studies and daily life of Zhuoga and her Tibetan classmates, this TV program reflects the progress in education in Tibet and the growing up of young Tibetan intellectuals.

Zhexiji and her friends are working in different trades. Their pursuit of beauty and love of their national fashions drove them to organize an amateur model group. In this program, audience will be able to appreciate traditional Tibetan costumes and garments with religious features.

A Master Of Traditional Tibetan Medicine
措如•才郎大师是西藏藏医学院院长，藏医大师，现已七十高龄了。半个世纪以来，他亲眼目睹了藏医药学的发展与进步，也看到了新一代藏医人才的成长。为了加强藏医药学与世界医学的交流，他还多次出访国外，参加国际性的藏学研讨会，扩大了藏医在世界上的影响。
Khrorutshernam (Cuoru Cailang) is a 70-year- old specialist in Tibetan medicine and the director of the College of Tibetan Medicine. He has witnessed the development of Tibetan medicine and the growing up of a new generation of Tibetan medicine professionals. He has time and again gone abroad for international conferences on Tibetan medicine. He does this to help promote exchanges between Tibetan-medicine doctors and their world peers and to expand the influence of Tibetan medicine.

扎西旺堆和格桑曲培原来都是旧西藏的贵族，一个是喇嘛，一个是十四世达赖的大管家，在1959年他们跟随十四世达赖跑到了印度。几十年之后他们叶落归根，回到拉萨。
该片通过扎西旺堆和格桑曲培归国后在西藏的工作和生活，客观真实的反映了中国政府对归国藏胞的关心和安置。
Zhaxi Wangdui and Gesang Qupei were both aristocrats in the old Tibet. One was a lama and another was a butler of the 14th Dalai Lama. In 1959 they both got away to India with the 14th Dalai Lama. Now they have come back to Lhasa decades later
This program faithfully documents their lives after they came back from India, reflecting the government’s cares for the returned Tibetan compatriots.
