天眼石（也可以叫天降石）是一种稀有宝石，属于沉积岩之一种，含有玉质及玛瑙成份。
相传天珠原属于“天神”的宝物，因为出现了缺陷，被贬降到人间，后被藏族发现，所以西藏人至今仍认为天眼石是“天降之石”。为藏密七宝之一。
史书记载天眼石的内部结构具有宇宙强烈的磁场能量，经日本研究证实为三、四千年前，火星的陨石坠落于喜马拉雅山区，使天眼石原矿在强烈撞击下次生十四种火星的元素，万以“镱”元素磁场能量特别强烈，造成天眼石有不可思议的感应，亦符合藏胞认为天眼石为“天降石”之说。
